A test program will begin soon, which includes testing the functionality of the lane control module and adaptive cruise control, which is responsible for maintaining distance. A representative of the Perm auto company told Motor magazine about this.
“In the summer, the lane keeping module and keeping the distance from the car in front will be tested,” the press service of Russo-Balt told Motor magazine in response to a request about the possibility of producing an unmanned van.
At the beginning of 2026, Russo-Balt announced the first model of the brand – the F200 electric van. The car is planned to be produced to order. Its starting price will be 6.5 million rubles, and the first deliveries to customers are scheduled for January 2027.
The model is equipped with a 200 hp electric motor. The motor receives energy from a traction battery with a capacity of 115 kWh. The manufacturer promises that the van will be able to travel up to 400 km on one charge, making the vehicle suitable for use both in megacities and on suburban routes.
The warranty on the van will be 200 thousand kilometers or 3 years, on the battery – 5 years without mileage limitation, and on the stainless steel body – 100 years against through corrosion.
It was previously revealed when the first Russo-Balt crossover will appear.
