Demand for cars from the Middle Kingdom falls, the Avtostat agency reports: in January and February this year, the Russians bought 91 thousand Chinese cars. This is 17 percent less than in the same two months of 2024. At the same time, interest in the products of domestic auto brands is growing.

However, they noticeably lag behind sales of the “Chinese”: 60.2 thousand buyers stopped choosing on Russian cars in two months. This is eight percent more than in January-February 2024. The share of domestic machines in the structure of the car market increased from 30.3 to 36 percent.

However, the demand for cars of the Belarusian assembly increased most strongly – from 2.5 thousand to 3.8 thousand pieces. The share amounted to 2.3 percent against the previous 0.8.
