A shooting brake called Flying Star was developed by the Milanese studio Carrozeria Touring Superleggera in the decade before last, based on the Continental GTC convertible. The car was produced in a limited edition of only 20 copies, one of which will soon be put up for auction at RM Sotheby’s. For Flying Star they expect to earn from 300 thousand to 400 thousand euros (32.3-43.1 million rubles). At the same time, the first owner spent only 343 thousand euros on re-equipment.

The redesign of the original Bentley Continental included lengthening the doors and rear fenders, and adding custom taillights and a tailgate. The metallic gray in which the body is painted is also a color from the Italian studio.

The Flying Star also received a special wood veneer luggage compartment trim and a set of matching bags. The interior is upholstered in genuine leather in a saffron shade.

The car’s mileage is only 7.5 thousand kilometers. It is powered by a six-liter W12 with twin turbocharging, developing 560 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.

In the summer, a rare 1962 Bentley S2 sedan with a two-tone body, a 6.2-liter engine and a mileage of 100 thousand kilometers was discovered in Moscow. It was put up for sale for 50 million rubles. Judging by the fact that the ad has not been removed from publication, a buyer for the rarity has not been found six months later.
