Canada mirrored the duties of Donald Trump by the US authorities called the “most American” cars: the results surprised the EU auto industry predicted collapse due to new duties of Trump

The issue with cars stuck in the port can be decided next Monday. On April 14, the leaders of European companies will meet on Monday with the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Layen to discuss the reaction to Trump’s tariffs.

Auto -manufacturers have not yet developed long -term plans in response to duties. So, Mercedes-Benz, unlike Audi, decided not to retain supplies. Despite the already difficult financial situation, the company will temporarily cover the duties itself, without raising prices for Americans. The same decision was made by BMW.
