The model, which will completely replace the Audi RS4, will be offered on the European market this summer, reports the Carscoops portal.
The new product combines a 2.9-liter V6 engine with twin turbocharging producing 510 hp and an electric motor producing 177 hp. and an eight-speed Tiptronic hybrid transmission. The car accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.
The Audi RS5 sedan and station wagon received a specially developed sports suspension and the proprietary quattro all-wheel drive system. A high-voltage traction battery with a capacity of 25.9 kWh allows an electric range of up to 87 km, and a full charge takes only 2.5 hours.
Visually, the Audi RS5 stands out for its aggressive appearance: massive wheel arch extensions, large exhaust pipes and 21-inch wheels. Compared to the original Audi A5, the sports model has become slightly wider and has gained weight.
Production of the new product will be established at the Audi plant in Neckarsulm, Germany. Pre-orders in Europe will open in the first quarter of 2026, with first deliveries to begin in the summer. The cost of a sedan starts from 106.2 thousand euros (9.6 million rubles at the current exchange rate), and the Avant station wagon will cost at least 107.8 thousand euros (9.7 million rubles).
Earlier it was reported that the revived Russo-Balt brand promised to reduce prices.
