If any problem occurs, the driver must contact a car service center for diagnostics.

“If the car pulls to the side when braking, this is a sign of a serious malfunction. In such a situation, controllability suffers, braking distance increases and the risk of an accident increases, so driving further without checking is dangerous,” Konstantin Ershov, a trainer at the training center of the international network of car service centers Fit Service, told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Malfunctions of the brake system are the most common reason why a car pulls to the side when braking. As a rule, this occurs due to different wear of the pads and discs on the right and left, a jammed caliper or soured guides. In this case, one wheel brakes more effectively than the other, and the car pulls towards a more efficient mechanism. Less commonly, the problem lies in internal damage to the brake hose, due to which the fluid flows unevenly and the pressure in the circuits varies.

In addition to the braking system, tires or suspension components can cause a slip. Different pressures in the wheels of the same axle, deformation of the rubber, a “hernia” on the sidewall or severe uneven tread wear change the grip on the road, and the deviation from the course becomes especially noticeable when braking.

Earlier it was reported that the revived Russo-Balt brand promised to reduce prices.
