In order to localize car production in Russia, foreign and domestic automakers are sorely lacking the capacity of the Russian car market. Ex-director of ROAD Oleg Moseev told Motor magazine about this.

“The main problem of the Russian automobile industry is the small market capacity. Accordingly, in order to localize production, the capacity of the Russian market is sorely lacking for manufacturers,” Moseev said in an interview with the magazine.

He emphasized that the country remains dependent on the supply of auto components from abroad. And there Russia has problems with unfriendly countries. Friendly states also have their own problems with production; they need to keep their factories busy, because in China, for example, there is a double excess of production capacity, the expert pointed out.

Previously, the expert gave precise advice to drivers in case of excessive fuel consumption.
