Classic hydromechanical automatic transmissions in these cars last 300 thousand kilometers or more.

According to Za Rulem auto expert Alexander Vinogradov, the GM 6T40 gearbox is in third place. The American-developed six-speed automatic is widely found on Opel (Astra J, Insignia, Zafira, Mokka) and Chevrolet (Cruze, Orlando, Captiva) models. For a million rubles, experts call the Opel Astra J the best option.

Second place goes to A6GF1. The Korean “six-speed” is known for its exceptional reliability. It was installed on a huge number of Hyundai and Kia models: Solaris, Rio, Creta, Elantra, Soul, Seltos, Cerato, Ceed and others. In a budget of up to 1 million rubles, the best representatives are Solaris or Rio of previous generations.

The first place goes to Aisin TF-60SN. Under the index AQ250, the box was installed on mass models of the Volkswagen Group: Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Rapid, Octavia, Karoq and others, most often paired with a naturally aspirated 1.6 engine.
