This option is radically different from the usual visit to the dealer. Instead of listening to a manager who, distracted by other matters, talks about the car for an hour, you can open the product card. The price there is fixed and corresponds to the recommended retail price. But this online format has its own specifics, requiring a cold mind and a strong psyche.

The main disadvantage of this scheme, according to Za Rulem expert Sergei Zinoviev, is the need to make a full prepayment by bank card immediately after placing the order, and no other payment methods are provided.

After the funds are written off, the buyer is plunged into painful ignorance for two to three days, without receiving any information about the fate of his order. This is followed by a call from the car dealership manager, who not only confirms the order, but begins to impose additional options and insurance, and similar equipment is often cheaper on marketplaces, the expert noted.

The key disadvantage remains the inability to physically inspect the car before payment – “touch, smell and try on”, as during a personal visit to the dealer.

Also, due to the fixed price, bargaining is completely excluded, and therefore the opportunity to get a discount.

Thus, buying a car online allows you to save time and nerves during negotiations, but it results in financial risks and stress from the unknown.
