“An inspection of a car by a traffic police officer will be illegal if it is carried out without the participation of witnesses, a video recording, an appropriate protocol, or without indicating that an inspection was carried out, as well as in the absence of the person who owns the vehicle,” the lawyer said.
According to him, if a traffic cop wants to cut and open the seats, then such actions are no longer included in such a control and supervisory action as an inspection. These actions can only be authorized by a court or investigator, otherwise they will be illegal.
