Autostat listed the five most inexpensive Chinese SUVs in Russia

Haval Jolion, Tenet T7, GAC GS3 and Belgee X70, already familiar to Russians, can compete with the new compact crossover Changan CS35 Max. The commercial director of the Pragmatika dealership network, Alexander Shaprinsky, reported this to the analytical agency Autostat.

“The current version of CS35 Plus has a 25% share of the brand’s total sales. The new CS35 Max has every chance to win the trust of customers, as well as attract some customers from the higher segment. It is quite realistic that its share could be 30 – 35%. According to our forecast, the most popular will be the balanced medium version of Luxe,” comments Alexander Shaprinsky.

The compact crossover Changan CS35 Max has already appeared at Russian dealers. The model is available in three versions – Comfort, Luxe and Tech. The car is equipped with a new generation NE1.5T Blue Core engine, which is paired with a 7-speed preselective robotic transmission (7DCT).

Changan CS35 Max represents the third generation of the model. Compared to its predecessor, the crossover has become longer by 210 mm, wider by 35 mm, and its wheelbase has increased by 110 mm. The equipment includes an independent multi-link rear suspension, an electric trunk, a built-in video recorder, a 540° camera showing the space under the bottom, as well as special driving modes “Snow” and “Track”.

For the Russian market, Changan CS35 MAX has undergone special adaptation. All configurations received a Russified interface, a winter package, enhanced noise and vibration insulation, as well as anti-corrosion treatment of the galvanized steel body. Other features include 4mm thick side windows, plastic fender liners and antifreeze designed to withstand temperatures down to -35°C.

Earlier, the premiere of the new Toyota crossover took place at a price of 1.5 million rubles.
