The competitors of the new product will be Haval Jolion, Geely Atlas, Tenet T7, Changan UNI-S. The director of Avilon Omoda, Maria Simvolokova, told the Autostat agency about this.

“Omoda C5 has become one of the brand’s key bestsellers on the Russian market in recent years. We believe that this model will retain its significant share in the segment and will continue to be one of the notable offerings in 2026,” comments Maria Simvolokova.

The dimensions of the updated Omoda C5 are 4545 mm in length, 1824 mm in width and 1588 mm in height. The design of the crossover is made in the style of the flagship C7 model: the front LED headlights have acquired more dynamic shapes, and the rear ones have a signature lightning bolt pattern. The model retained its recognizable silhouette with a “floating” roof, but acquired an “aggressive” rear bumper, new wheels and aerodynamic mirrors.

The interior of the updated version is made with an emphasis on the driver: an asymmetrical console and a large 15.6-inch screen at hand. The front seats have become more ergonomic – they have an increased area, multi-layer filling for proper back support, and are heated and ventilated.

The updated Omoda C5 is equipped with a 6-speed “robot” with two clutches. The list of technological innovations includes an advanced ADAS security package and a 540 surround-view camera.

Earlier it was reported that Omoda C5 and C7 received the right to sell in the Russian Federation under the Jeland brand.
