Avtotor canceled the “Rule of two hours” on the M-11 highway

A rule was on the paid road: between the points of entry and departure in the areas from Solnechnogorsk to St. Petersburg it was possible to be no more than two hours with a total route of less than 50 kilometers. If it was violated, drivers were charged a fee at the maximum tariff. Since February 17, this rule has been abolished, writes RIA Novosti.

Fines, or rather maximum tariffs, were used on the road to combat fraudulent schemes, Avtodor explained.

Now the state -owned company has introduced an automatic trial recognition system to exclude cases of the use of fraudulent schemes. Conscientious drivers now should not fall into the situation with an unfair increase in fees.

Those who had to mistakenly pay for travel at the maximum tariff can contact the operator of the site. At the same time, it does not matter how the payment was made – in cash or on the card.

Also, from February 17, 2025, the passage along the MSD has become paid for Muscovites. But you will have to pay only at the peak hours on weekdays – from 07:00 to 11:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00. The passage of one site costs five rubles, and the maximum tariff is 45 rubles.
