The insider insists: several cars have already been broken in the factory as part of crash tests. The emergence of foreign cars in the NTC usually indicates the beginning of new joint projects: the FAW Bestune T77 and the Chergo 7 Pro/Tiggo 8 lit up on the AvtoVAZ.
Strictly speaking, Changan UNI-V is a business class liftback that is considered an analogue of Skoda Octavia. According to insiders, the “Chinese” can serve as the basis for the LADA C-class project: cars, which will be prestigious and larger than “Vesta”. Without a license and joint production, the fast implementation of an idea is impossible.

The joint projects of AvtoVAZ with FAW and CHERI under the XCite brand were unsuccessful, and Changan is interested in local assembly of cars in Russia. The Chinese side tried to negotiate with the Gorky Automobile Plant, but the story with the Volga did not receive a sequel, then rumors associated the Changan with the Kaliningrad Autotor, but it did not come to serial production.
