AvtoVAZ modeled the operation of LADA ISKRA for 6 years

The engineers of the auto giant applied special methods to simulate the most rigid operation of the model for a 6-year period and 150 thousand kilometers. For testing, working out technology and staff training, about 300 cars were made.

It is noted that for the first time AvtoVAZ experienced a car on a completely new stand to simulate the effects of solar radiation. A special camera made it possible to repeat the storage of a car under the scorching sun for 6 years.

The lamps hot air around the car up to 40 degrees, and the car itself – up to 80 degrees and above. According to the results of such “solar” tests, the design of plastic elements of the interior and exterior was adjusted.

Another curious moment – experts modeling a periodic washing: from a simple garden hose, high -pressure washing and in an automatic installation. A new sprinkle camera was also involved.

For corrosion resistance, the future LADA ISKRA was checked both in saline forces, in the salt melting chamber, and in the climatic chamber, where the bodies of the coming new product were frozen or defrosted.
