According to Prime, the application for registration of the trademark was received by the department in March of this year. The applicant is the AvtoVAZ joint stock company.
Judging by the documents, under the Lada Business brand the company plans to not only sell cars and spare parts for them, but also provide repair services and rent out cars.
Prior to this, the Lada Parus trademark was officially registered in Russia. The corresponding entry appeared in the database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS). According to open data, the registration application was submitted at the beginning of 2025.
The name Lada Parus is protected under several classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICGS). This means that the name can be used not only for the cars themselves, but also for toy models, as well as for car repair and maintenance services.
