The second day of Bahi Archeda, and in fact, the first full after the prologue is two circles with a total length of about three hundred kilometers. Saturdays of two special stages (SU) turned out to be difficult: 95 kilometers of the Su-2, on a third of the sandy roads, and 184 kilometers of the Su-3, mainly for the primer. The highway is high -speed, very twisted and complicated for navigation. Not all crews smiled at luck that day.

Saturday special stages were two circles, including steppe and forest areas, a very large number of sands and primers. In the Volgograd region there was hot weather, the engines worked literally for wear, since loose and chubby sand, which thoroughly pulled out the first trucks, created an additional load on the engine for Baggie and SUVs, and the motors were boring serious.

Nevertheless, out of 24 crews that started on the second racing day, 23 successfully finished. After the Su-3, the Kamaz-Master crew was designed to pilot Dmitry Sotnikov, which showed the best time following the second special storage tier. Dmitry Sotnikov spoke about the adventures of the day:

– The second day of the race. 300 kilometers. For the first round of 100 kilometers, we started fifths, and the third came to the finish. Everything turned out well. They controlled the situation, Karimov was visible ahead. They only worried that Sergei Vyazovich started behind, and this gave him an advantage, since 200 kilometers of the second circle was a new route where we had not traveled yet. And those who opened the Su-3 highway, needed to draw a trajectory, which means that it could play in the hands of rivals. But we managed to go well and quickly, and I was pleased with the pace. The roads were fast, rode at maximum speed. On one of the new pieces of the road there were very tuberous paths intersecting with off -road. The track was visible far enough, they saw Bogdan’s trace. But on one of the hills, we later realized that the car was already in a slight separation, and a hole in front, but we do not have time to brake. I suspect that the ass of our car was very tossed up, it turned out to be a big jump, and we touched the land with a frame. Then for some time they slipped at the bumper, made a revolution and stood on the wheels. At the time of touching the Earth, there was a strong enough blow. The crew is generally in order, but Dmitry Avdeev for reinsurance still decided to send to the hospital, since he had severe pains. But in general, the car was injured, and we are in order.

The truck made a coup through the roof and received severe damage from the blow. The mechanic also suffered – two compression fractures of the spine.

In the cargo standings, according to the results of the day, leadership behind Bogdan Karimov, who increased the advantage over Edward Nikolaev to seven and a half minutes. And the crew of Diamond Akhmedov a little lost his position, although according to the results of two days the race continues to stay in third place, but is inferior to Karimov a little more than 13 minutes. In the absolute standings, the experienced pilot Boris Gadasin at the second special storage first fell into fourth place, missing Andrei Novikov ahead, but quickly rehabilitated and on the Su-3 already finished in the leaders of the Absolute and on the fourth line of the general classification.

In the second and third places of the Absolute, as well as the first and second, the Circassian brothers were fixed in T3. Dmitry is ahead of Alexei by two and a half minutes, and both Belgorodians try not to fall out of the three. Anastasia Nifontova, like a real fighter, fights for a place on the catwalk and takes the fourth place of the Absolute and the third in the category of Baggi T3 at the end of two days. Although the lag behind Dmitry is almost 19 minutes.

Both crews of the GAZ Raid Sport team are cheerful in raid sports. Alexei Ignatov and Evgeny Pavlov are in the first place in his test group, and Alexander Semenov and Dmitry Okhotnikov are the second. Yes, and in the absolute, the crews conquered in position: Ignatov rose to sixth place, and Semenov to the eighth. And the gap from the closest pursuer Mikhail Mityaev is more than half an hour.

– Today we had two full -fledged special stages. In general, the roads of both special stages were similar because they partially passed in the same area, ”said Alexei Ignatov-the main difficulty is that almost the entire highway is roads with heavy sand. And all day today there was an increased load on the transmission, on the engine, and it was important not to overestimate the capabilities of the car, but to move quickly, but so as not to overload the car. You will go a little faster, and the temperature in the engine begins to grow, and there were times when it seemed that the clutch heats up and could not withstand such loads. We tried to maintain a reasonable pace – as fast as possible, but not fatal for the car. But in general, the NN Gazelle worked great. True, there was a moment in a dense forest where we rested on a deep cargo track, and we had to take backwards, rested on a tree and broke the rear lamp and slightly “crumpled” the car. But, nevertheless, they were able to get out on their own and leave.

In the category of standard T2 SUVs, Andrei Sushentsov continues to hold leadership, although not without difficulty: on the Su-3 he missed both his rivals and finished only the third in his standings. The S&A Racing crew after two days of competitions of more than 1.5 hours of advantage over Leonid Petrov and Andrei Gorkov.

For trucks, GAZ Ray Sport was successful, although both crews were faced with technical problems: Vladimir Moiseev 50 kilometers to the finish line faced the problem of gearboxes, and the cooling system fan was scattered in the car of Mikhail Shklyaev. But both pilots are set up to continue the fight and are tuned to play the lost time tomorrow.

– The first circle was not so high -speed, so they drove carefully, took care of the car, said the navigator of the GAZ Raid Sport Alexander Sheludko team – they met the standard. In principle, there were no navigation problems. The only thing that some points were not taken at speed, so several times I had to spin in place. The reason is not yet clear. The second circle was more interesting, long straight lines appeared. I, like a navigator, could even take a break. There were many Peskov today, in the first round, in the second. One sandbox was good, she drove easily. In the rest there was a very soft sand, there was and where to turn … In one place they turned a little early, as a result, the path stopped fighting with a “legend”, but a point went on and opened a course. Lucky! In general, everything is fine, great, the car is alive. Preparing for the next day!

On Sunday, May 18, the participants were waiting for two final specialists who duplicate the Saturdays, but they were to go in the opposite direction. The crews will have to be difficult, since the track will be thoroughly rolled, and you will have to be as attentive as possible and protect the equipment in order to successfully complete the competition. Everything, as usual, will be decided on the final kilometers, and very soon we will find out who will win in this difficult bache of Archeda. /m
