This happened due to a technical error occurring on the automaker’s website. In total, BMW plans to bring about 40 new and updated models to the market.
One of the main new products for 2027 is the BMW M2 xDrive. For the first time in history, the smallest M car will have all-wheel drive. It is expected that this version will be available only with an automatic transmission, while the standard rear-wheel drive M2 will retain the manual transmission.
In addition, there will be a new version of the M350 xDrive, which will replace the current M340i. The next generation of the “troika” will probably lose the rear-wheel drive M Performance version. Two electric variants have also been confirmed: the i3 40 xDrive and the i3 50 xDrive on the Neue Klasse platform.
The iX4 electric crossover will also appear. It will be a coupe version of the iX3 with a sportier design but less space for rear passengers and luggage.
The BMW X5 and iX5 are also expected to appear. The fifth generation of the legendary SUV will retain the basic rear-wheel drive version of the 40 sDrive and will receive a fully electric modification, the iX5 60 xDrive.
The flagship model BMW 7-Series is awaiting restyling. The V8 engine will remain in the range, and a new M760 M Performance version is expected. But the V12 will finally become a thing of the past.
Missing from the list are the Z4 Roadster and 8-Series models. This is because production of these vehicles will likely be completed in the coming months.
Earlier it was reported that Daimler will present an electric bus, which has a power reserve 2.5 times greater than that of KamAZ.
