Calculated how prices for Lada cars have changed over the year

Last week Granta and Niva Legend moved away from buyers, and last year the price lists were massively rewritten in the spring and fall. In 2024, AvtoVAZ revised the equipment and returned the functionality that had been removed due to sanctions, so some models of January 2025 have richer equipment than their November 2023 counterparts. The record holder for the increase in price is the initial version of Vesta SW Cross.

In November 2023, Vesta SW Cross was produced in a modest Comfort package with an 8-valve engine, so the cross station wagon could be purchased for 1,512,000 rubles. Now the basic version of Life comes only with a 16-valve engine, so the model has risen in price to 1,879,000 rubles.

Over the same 14 months, the top-end Vesta Cross added 170 thousand rubles in price, while the regular, fully equipped Vesta sedan increased by 174 thousand rubles. But the starting price of Vesta has changed slightly since the fall of 2023: from 1,510,000 to 1,525,000 rubles.

The equipment, filling and price of the cheapest Lada Iskra have been revealed. The head of AvtoVAZ has revealed the production capacity of the auto giant. How the prices of the bestsellers of 2021 have changed over the year

In just over a year, basic Niva Travel SUVs have risen in price from 1,199,000 to 1,314,000 rubles, the top version of the model cost 1,484,000 rubles, and now will cost 1,639,000 rubles. The three-door Niva Legend has a larger increase in relative terms: the “base” increased in price from 830,000 to 1,059,000 rubles, and the maximum configuration from 1,069,000 to 1,209,000 rubles.

The initial Lada Granta sedan now costs 750 thousand rubles (instead of 700 thousand rubles), and the top version in November 2023 cost 1.03 million rubles, and now it will cost 1.333 million rubles. Granta liftbacks have greatly increased in price: the initial version now costs 1,077,000 rubles (instead of 740 thousand rubles), and the top version costs 1,384,000 rubles (instead of 1,060,000 rubles).

The January round of price increases for Lada cars did not affect the Largus, Niva Travel and Vesta families. However, the price lists of the flagship of the Volzhsky Automobile Plant will soon be revised: on January 27, an option with a Chinese 6-speed manual transmission will be added to the range, so that not only a CVT will be combined with the 1.8 Evo engine.
