The Chinese electric vehicle market has expanded with another stylish low-profile SUV – the Changan Nevo Q06. The model is comparable in size and shape to the Xiaomi SU7, but, according to preliminary data, it will cost less and be inferior to it in dynamics. Carscoops reports this.
Pictures published by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) show that the SUV clearly shares design similarities with the Nevo A06 sedan. The model has separate headlights with a light strip across the entire width of the body, a black lower radiator grille and black air intakes.
Among the features of the new product are glossy black wheel arches, lidar on the roof and door handles without protruding elements. The side of the body has received graceful contours thanks to the soft shoulder line and convex rear panels. A rear LED strip and a body-colored diffuser complete the look.
According to preliminary data, the Nevo Q06 will offer customers 14 wheel designs, a two-tone rear spoiler, custom tinted glass and a panoramic glass roof. SUV dimensions: length – 4837 mm, width – 1970 mm, height – 1670 mm, wheelbase – 2940 mm.
The main technical difference between the new product and Xiaomi YU7 is the variability of power plants. Nevo Q06 will offer both fully electric versions and versions with an additional battery (EREV). Basic rear-wheel drive versions produce 282 and 302 hp. For those who need maximum dynamics, there is a twin-engine version with 444 hp, which raises the top speed threshold from 200 to 230 km/h.
