The head of the press service of the Russian branch of the company Yevgeny Nikiten-Katsar confirmed that the two crossovers-Tiggo 7 Pro Pro Plug-in Hybrid and Tiggo 8 Pro Pro Plug-in Hybrid-are withdrawn from the brand hybrid line in our country.

She noted that the Tiggo 8 Plug-in Hybrid model took the top position in the lineup and was designed to demonstrate the technological achievements of the brand. But now the time has come for the release of new flagship cars, so it was decided to remove this hybrid version from the site. Together with her “left” and Tiggo 7 Plug-in Hybrid. What kind of new flagships will appear in return, the company has not yet reported.

These models with a hybrid power plant entered the Russian market in October 2023. The Tiggo 8 Pro Plug-in Hybrid design combined three engines-one gasoline and two electric ones, which worked together with a specially designed transmission. The total power of the power plant reached 235 horsepower, of which 147 “horses” provided a one and a half -liter gasoline turbocharged engine, and another 88 horsepower added electric motors. Acceleration to 100 kilometers per hour was carried out in 7.5 seconds, the maximum speed reached 180 kilometers per hour.
