Chinese Changan begins the expansion of Europe: the first model is disclosed

It will become Deepal S07 – a hybrid crossover, which, by the way, is promised to Russians. Its sales will begin in April in Scandinavia, then in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. By the end of 2025, Changan will open a hundred dealerships in Europe and expand the territory of presence – an agreement with Portugal and Greece has already been reached.

Deepal is the Changan Subscent, launched in China in 2022 for the sale of electric cars and hybrids of the middle price range. Well, and the S07 is a crossover with a sequential hybrid installation, in which a 1.5-liter gasoline ICE acts as an energy regenerator, and a 238-horsepower electric motor is responsible for the rotation of the wheel on the rear axle. In the Chinese market for the model, two batteries are offered a choice of 31.7 or 39 kilowatt hours. On pure electricity, the crossover passes 215–285 kilometers, depending on the version.
