For the “combat” Citroen ZX, the auction house plans to help from 475 to 525 thousand euros (from about 42 to 47 million rubles).

Citroen ZX RALLYE RAID first appeared on the racing highway in 1990. According to official figures, these cars won 36 out of 42 races. On the account of French models, four Dakars, five victories in the standings of manufacturers and five in the standings of the FIA ​​World Cup for rally-raids.

The debut race of the copy with the number of chassis C05 was the “rally of the orthic”, in which the car under the control of the racer Ari Vatanen came the fourth. A year later, in the same race, the car came to the third to the finish line. The best achievement of the sports car at the distance Paris – Dakar was the sixth line.

The Prototype Rallye Raid has nothing to do with the serial Citroen ZX. The model is a medium -measurement buggy with a completely independent suspension, built around a spatial frame. The machine is driven by a 330-horsepower four-cylinder turbo engine, and the gearbox is a seven-speed “mechanics”.

The SUV participated in world races for three years, after which it became part of the collection of the Citroen Museum. In 2011, the car was purchased by a private buyer who carried out several restoration work. After the last recovery, BAGGM was painted in the same livery that was on it in the first “rally of the orthodists”.

In 2023, the Peugeot 3008 buggy, participating in Dakar, was put up for auction. During the auction for a racing all -around, they planned to help out to 650 thousand euros.
