According to the recommendation, five percent of parking spaces with a residential complex should be assigned to electric cars and hybrids. The same places must be equipped with electric shift stations. According to experts, such an initiative will stimulate the development of “green” transport in the country.
It is necessary to fix the norm on the number of charging stations in the territory of parking in residential complexes in design documentation. If a large number of parking spaces is not provided for a new building, developers will need to equip at least one charging for electric cars. The recommended combined power of such stations should be at least 11 kilowatts. Parking places equipped with charging were proposed to designate the appropriate signs.

The Ministry of Construction believes that in the future, the installation of charging stations in parking can be a mandatory requirement in the construction of a new residential complex. A similar measure should help in the development of the “green” car market in Russia. Despite the record sales of “trains” in the country, their share remains at 0.6 percent.
The Ministry of Emergencies allowed the installation of charging stations in underground parking lots of residential complexes in 2022. However, to accommodate such stations, there are many nuances that make the installation of systems an almost impossible task. One of the problems is the requirement on the dimensions of the parking lot equipped with electric loading. To place the station, its area should be at least 3 by 6 meters. At the same time, the minimum permissible size of the parking space in Russia is 2.5 by 5.3 meters.
In mid -February, it became known that the Moscow Metro will release its own charger for electric vehicles. Benching electric loading is planned to be installed near the stations.
