In October 1994, the companies “Master-Design”, “Mag” and “Akra-auto” presented the project “Amadeo-500” – a limousine based on the VAZ-21099 sedan: the model, developed by the Tolyatti studio, received a 500-mm insert in the center of the body. It is believed that only two of these machines were made.
As Motor magazine learned, one copy of the Amadeo-500 has survived to this day. The car has a shabby appearance, but it drives quite confidently on the roads of Tolyatti.
In the rear of the cabin there are a pair of separate leather seats, while the “passenger compartment” has an individual heating system, a refrigerator, an audio system and a TV.
The power of the forced 1.6-liter engine is 100 hp, although some sources note that the output of the carburetor power unit is only 88 hp.
