Dacia Sandero for the second month in a row occupies first place in terms of sales in the European market. According to Jato Dynamics statistics, in February 2025, Europeans bought more than 21.6 thousand copies of Sandero, which is four percent more than last month last year. For sales, Dacia Sandero left behind Citroen C3, Renault Clio, Peugeot 208 and Volkswagen Golf.

The Russians are well familiar with Sandero – this model was sold under the Renault brand until the spring of 2022 and was produced at AvtoVAZ capacities. After the beginning, his French automaker left the market, while allowing AvtoVAZ to use the CMF-B platform, which subsequently formed the basis of Lada ISKRA. Since then, Sandero managed to change the generation in Europe, and now the third generation model is being sold there. And it is sold very successfully.

Sandero was the leader in the European market at the end of 2024, then a little lost his position, but already in January 2025 returned to the first place, which still holds.

In the second place in the February rating was Citroen C4: sales of this model increased by four percent compared to the same month of 2024 and amounted to 18,540 units. The first three is closed by Renault Clio with a result of 18,348 cars sold (+22 percent to last year). The fourth line went to the Peugeot 208 (16,532 pcs., -10 percent), and the fifth -Volkswagen Golf, which was dispersed in the amount of 16,033 copies (-18 percent).

The second half of the rating looks as follows: in the sixth position of Dacia Duster (15 401 pcs.; +14 percent), Volkswagen t-ROC (15,284 pcs.; +10 percent), Peugeot 2008 (14,403 pcs.; +3 percent), Volkswagen Tiguan (14,363 pcs.; +43 percent) and Toyota Yaris Cross (13,889 pcs.; -11 percent).
