The Russians have already been waiting for the Bestune B70 liftback – it was first shown back in the spring of this year, promising to launch sales in the summer, but the deadlines have shifted all the way to December. A competitor to the Geely Emgrand and Chery Arrizo 8 will cost in Russia from 2.5 to 3.25 million rubles. But the flagship Bestune crossover will be offered to Russians with two power plants to choose from and in five trim levels at prices ranging from 2.78 to 3.72 million.

The FAW Bestune B70 liftback is a modernized version of a model that was already sold in Russia and was popular. With the update, the four-door has changed on the outside – the exterior design now looks more modern and stricter thanks to a minimalistic radiator grille, two-tier optics and a new illuminated emblem. The interior has a new multimedia system, a different transmission joystick and a modernized central tunnel.

The list of B70 equipment, depending on the configuration, includes LED optics, a panoramic roof, electric mirrors, climate control and a keyless entry system. The central screen is 12.3 inches diagonal, and the digital instrument panel is seven inches. There are all-round cameras with a “transparent hood” function, adaptive cruise control and other electronic assistants.

The matter was not limited to design – changes also occurred under the hood. In both modifications that will be offered in Russia, the liftback has become more powerful. The output of the one and a half liter turbo engine increased from 160 horsepower to 169, and the two-liter one – from 217 to 224. In the first case, the engine is paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox, in the second – a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission.

The B70 with a 1.5 engine and a “robot” accelerates to “hundreds” in 9.3 seconds and consumes 9.3 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers in city/highway mode. The version with the 2.0 unit and automatic transmission reaches 100 kilometers per hour in 7.8 seconds and consumes 7.1 liters.

Prices excluding direct discounts are as follows: the basic Enjoyment model costs 2,499,990 rubles, Prestige – 2,699,990 rubles for the version with a 1.5 engine and 3,099,990 rubles for the version with a two-liter engine, and Master – 3,249,990 rubles. For comparison: Geely Emgrand is a little cheaper (from 2,183,990 to 2,663,990 rubles), and Chery Arrizo is a little more expensive at the entry level (from 2,800,000 to 3,230,000 rubles).

The second new product, which debuted on December 10 in Moscow, is the Bestune T90 – the brand’s largest crossover in the local model line and the most expensive. In the initial and medium Luxury or Noble configurations, it is equipped with a 160-horsepower 1.5-liter engine in conjunction with a “robot”. Moreover, in all three trim levels, Luxury, Noble and Flagship, the T90 can be equipped with a two-liter unit with 245 horsepower, which works in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The version with the base 1.5-liter engine takes 9.3 seconds to accelerate to “hundreds” and consumes seven liters of fuel. The more powerful 245-horsepower version with a 2.0 engine completes this exercise in 7.5 seconds and consumes 7.2 liters.

The list of standard equipment on the T90 includes 18-inch wheels, all-LED optics, keyless entry and push-button engine start, a panoramic roof, electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, and an automatic lighting system. By default, the steering wheel is heated, there is dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and a six-speaker audio system.

In more expensive trim levels, the list of options is expanded to include additional airbags (if there are four in the “base”, then in the other two versions there are six), a set of electronic auxiliary systems, an all-round camera with a “transparent” hood function, cruise control and other things. . At the top level of equipment, the crossover has 19-inch wheels, an electric tailgate, front parking sensors, atmospheric interior lighting, as well as an automatic parking system and an intelligent lane change system.

The Bestune T90 in the Luxury configuration costs from 2,779,990 rubles with a 1.5 engine and from 3,429,990 rubles for the version with a two-liter unit. For the execution of Noble they will ask for 3,039,990 rubles and 3,569,990 rubles, respectively, and Flagship, for which only a 2.0 engine is provided, will cost 3,719,990 rubles.
