There will not be a sudden jump in prices, because the rise in price will spread over time, but in the end it will have a noticeable effect. Tatyana Ovchinnikova, director of the international franchising network of Fit Service car services, warned Russian motorists about this in a conversation with Motor magazine.

“There are three stages of adjustments: approximately about 10% – from January, about another 10% – from March and about 5% – in August. These are the ranges that will differ depending on the type of work and region. Before each price revision, detailed analytics are carried out for each city and for specific groups of services, so that the increase in the cost of services is as targeted and economically justified as possible,” Ovchinnikova said.

According to Fit Service, the cumulative increase in the average cost of repairs and maintenance by the end of 2026 will be 20-25% compared to the level of 2025.

At the same time, Ovchinnikova noted that this is not a record dynamics over the past five years: previous periods were sharper for the market. The main growth drivers are an increase in tax and administrative burdens, higher rental and logistics prices, as well as an increase in the salaries of qualified craftsmen.

Earlier it became clear how many Chinese auto companies will ultimately remain in Russia.
