This is a mid-size crossover 4.7 meters long with a monocoque body and basic front-wheel drive. Outwardly, it resembles the first generation Dargo, but at the same time it looks more expressive. Inside, the H7 has a virtual instrument panel and a separate tablet for the multimedia system.

Two modifications have been announced for the export Haval H7. The first is with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 199 horsepower, the second is with a hybrid power plant based on a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine.
