Haval will be equipped with Russian electronic blocks

The production of control units for HAVAL cars, which are responsible for the operation of “smart” electronics, are going to establish at the AutoElectronics factory in the Kaluga region. This was written by Kaluga News with reference to the deputy governor of the region Vladimir Popov. According to him, the Chinese and Russian side has already confirmed the mood for mutually beneficial cooperation.

They plan to establish the production of electronic blocks at the Kaluga enterprise Avtoelektronika, which was already visited by specialists from China. Despite the fact that they liked the level of technical base and the training of employees, the start of the production of components is not yet called.

Haval gradually increases the level of localization of Russian assembly cars. The Bestseller of the brand – the Jolion crossover – received 1630 points of localization of the possible 7,000 last year. Before that, he had only 1300 points. The car received telematics from Russian suppliers, as well as new wheels and tires.
