The first-born of the Honda 0 line debuted at the CES 2025 consumer electronics show. [анонсированные](https://motor.ru/news/honda-zero-models-10-01-2024.htm) a year ago. Honda 0 SUV and Honda 0 Saloon are a crossover and electric car with a wedge-shaped body that can be roughly called a sedan. For now, these are concepts that will degenerate into global models and give rise to a line of new “electric trains” under the zero index. Both will receive the Asimo operating system and level 3 autopilot. Production will start at the Honda plant in Ohio (USA) in 2026.

The launch of “zero” electric cars is still a long way off, and therefore Honda did not provide any information about the technology. It is only known that the Japanese are developing the platform independently. The same goes for the Asimo OS operating system for on-board electronics: it was named after the Android, which Honda completed work on back in 2014. He, in turn, received the name in honor of the science fiction writer Isaac Asimov.

The main processor for Honda electric vehicles will be developed by the Japanese company Renesas Electronics Corporation. The batteries will be supplied by the Honda-LG Energy Solution joint venture.

An autopilot of the third level on the SAE scale is promised. Its developers rely on the experience of the Honda Legend sedan, which was equipped with the Traffic Jam Pilot system four years ago. Part of the Elite complex is the Hands-off function, which allows you to remove your hands from the steering wheel when cruise control is active. In the new version, the autopilot will become more convenient and advanced. For example, it will be connected to a neural network that the Californian startup Helm.ai is working on.

The first-born of the 0 line will be the mid-size five-seater crossover Honda 0 SUV and the Honda 0 Saloon with a four-seater interior. The concepts are similar on the outside, although the Saloon is more experimental—it doesn’t even have external door handles. The interiors also have a lot in common: both show cars have a huge cluster with five screens, stretching from window to window, and a steering wheel.

In total, the line will include seven models. In 2026, Honda will show an entry-level SUV, a year later a three-row crossover, in 2028 a compact crossover, in 2029 another small SUV, and in 2030 a compact sedan.
