Honda ZR-V: Japanese crossover from China

For several years of stay in the Chinese vacuum, we have slightly lost the binding to the global automobile coordinate system. Few people now have in Russia an idea of ​​what, in their qualities and perception of the machine from the usual European, Japanese, Korean and American brands. Therefore, it was so interesting to take the most banal crossover for the test – but from the Non -Chinese manufacturer. Or maybe the differences between the old and new brands have long been erased and everyone, including the Japanese from the Honda, do about the same thing? Let’s try to understand this with the example of Honda ZR-V.

This is the mid-compact crossover, which is made on the basis of the CIVIC of the actual generation and is located a step below CR-V in the Honda lineup. Further in this and the next paragraphs it will be quite difficult, but otherwise not to understand. In addition to Japan, Europe and other smaller markets, ZR-V is sold in China and the USA. But in America it is called HR-V, and in China it is offered immediately under both names. ZR-V is produced at a joint venture with GAC, and the option with the name HR-V is in joint production with Dongfeng. The latter is also slightly characterized by the design of the front and back.
