Sales of the Guoyue single -piece with a sequential hybrid system have started. Instead of a gasoline 3.0-liter V6 (303 hp), a 2.0-liter “turbocer” (231 hp) was installed under the hood, but it is not connected with wheels. The rear axle rotates a 245-horsepower electric motor. The new bus is able to drive without activation of the ICE to 82 kilometers (NEDC) and accelerate to 130 km/h.

Purely gasoline Hongqi Guuyue is sold in China for about a year, and prices vary in the range from 468 to 598 thousand yuan (65-82 thousand dollars). A hybrid with a gasoline generator is more expensive: 707-712 thousand yuan (97-98 thousand dollars), but was proposed only in the most luxurious assemblies for 17 or 19 seats.

The story of the secret limousine Hongqi Chinese leader Xi Jinping Hongqi LS7: Another Chinese Cullinan? Hongqi HS5. Q5 in Chinese

There are no details about the hybrid bus: Hongqi did not share photographs of the chassis, did not open the capacity of the traction battery, only mentioning that she was nickel-kobalt-Margance. The only difference in the cabin is the electromechanical parking brake instead of the classic “poker”. It can be expected that a sequential hybrid will be much more economical than a six -cylinder version with a declared flow rate of 15.9 liters per 100 kilometers (NEDC).

By world standards, the release of a large bus (7.3 meters length) with a sequential hybrid scheme and a gasoline generator – a slurry event. However, Hongqi has a specific target audience, and for VIP clients a power plant with a minimum of exhaust gases and silent work can be preferable.
