All thanks to the new generation of the E-Tech hybrid installation, which received the designation 160. The main innovation is the 1.8 gasoline atmospheric engine, which was replaced by a hopeless “four” with a volume of 1.6 liters. The “atmospheric” is more powerful than its predecessor and gives out more traction at low speeds. In addition, now the installation includes a battery with a capacity of 1.4 kilowatt-hour against the previous 1.2-kilowatt.
E-Tech 160 consists of a mentioned 1.8-liter “atmospheric” with direct injection, it develops 109 horsepower and 172 nm of torque against 94 forces and 150 nm of the moment in the previous 1.6-liter unit. The gasoline ICE is helped by the starter-generator for 20 forces, the gearbox is robotic. Behind it is installed an electric motor that develops 49 forces and 205 Nm of torque. The total installation capacity increased from 143 to 158 horsepower.
