Avtotor reported that investments allowed to modernize, in particular, the paintwork, increasing the power of the site from 40 to 75 thousand bodies per year. In addition, in the near future, experts are going to launch an additional workshop, the power of which will be about one hundred thousand bodies. Earlier, in the framework of SPIC in Kaliningrad, the production of electric motor was established, and this year the car factory plans to start the assembly of electronic control systems and compact electric vehicles. Avtotor plans to put most of the new enterprises in operation in 2025. At the same time, several factories will be launched as follows. In total, under the current contract, experts create 12 new sites.
In early February, Avtotor told about plans to carry out robotization of production. In particular, machines will allow you to produce different bodies on one platform.
