Tivoli, Korando, Torres and Rexton are already available among KGM dealers – the first three are crossovers, and the fourth is an SUV. All of them made their debut in our market in mid -February, and now the start of sales has been announced. Cars are delivered to Russia officially from the plant in South Korea, they are applied by a guarantee of a car manufacturer for a period of five years or 100 thousand kilometers. Discounts are also offered when buying a car in trad-in, they amount to 100-300 thousand rubles. The importer of the revived “Koreans” is the company “Rax Motors”.

The crossovers Tivoli, Korando and Torres are proposed in Russia with the same bunch of a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 163 horsepower and a six-band Aisin. Tivoli has exclusively front drive, and Korando and Torres are available with full. The flagship SUV REXTON drives a 2.0 -liter engine for 225 horsepower, and its drive is only complete.

Prices are already known: Tivoli “starts” with 3,590,000 rubles, Korando – from 4,390,000, Torres – from 5,150,000, and Rexton – from 6,790,000 rubles. That is, all four models are more expensive than their Chinese classmates, but at the same time cheaper than cars imported by parallel imports.

Earlier it was reported that Rax Motors makes the main bet on Torres: it is expected that it will have about 60 percent of sales. The share of Korando and Rexton will be 25 and 10 percent, respectively, and only five percent of the Tivoli monoprodic Tivoli.

Recall that the name KGM South Korean automaker Ssangyong received as a result of reorganization. Ssangyong Motor survived a series of financial problems, was on the verge of bankruptcy, changed several owners and ultimately absorbed compatriots from the KG Group chemical concern.
