According to a study by Avto.ru, which was reviewed by the TASS agency, the increase in prices for “Chinese” cars with mileage amounted to almost 5% over the month (February). For comparison, other foreign cars (with the exception of Chinese ones) have risen in price on the secondary market by 3%, their average price is now 2.35 million rubles.

Prices grew most actively in a number of regions of Russia. In St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, the average bill for a used car increased by 5%, to 2.13 million rubles.

The same increase was recorded in Tatarstan (up to 1.58 million) and the Chechen Republic (up to 1.48 million). In Moscow, the price increased by 4%, stopping at 2.83 million rubles.

It is noteworthy that in some regions, including the Tyumen, Penza and Tver regions, there was a slight decrease in the average cost – within 1-2%.

At the same time, the share of Chinese brands in the total volume of offers in the secondary market continues to grow. In February it reached 7%, while a year ago it was only 4%.

Earlier, Russians were told about serious problems with their cars in the spring.
