The incident occurred in a parking lot near Sacramento on April 5, Carscoops reports.
Judging by the blurry video taken from the opposite side of the intersection, the GT was moving faster than other cars, but without clearly exceeding the speed limit. The accident may have been caused by a van driving out of the parking lot onto the road. It either hit the Ford or startled the driver, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.
Regardless of whether there was a collision with the van, the result is clear: the Ford GT lost traction, spun clockwise, and then crashed into an earthen embankment and concrete barriers. The impact was so strong that the supercar was thrown into the air, the door trim was torn off, and the body was turned counterclockwise. Judging by the footage from the scene of the accident, almost nothing was left of the car. As a result of the incident, two people were injured: arriving doctors hospitalized the victims.
