For a month now, a fast restart of the enterprise in Shushara under St. Petersburg with the help of Cheri has been discussed. The next confirmation came from the sources of Fontanka: according to them, the AGR company now has already agreed with Chinese partners on large -sized assembly of Jaeco brand models, which is part of the Cher’s portfolio. They will sell them under the Solaris brand.

Sources say that Chery has already begun to import equipment in the workshop. The first Jaecoo-Solaris models released in Shushara will be crossovers J7 and J8. They will be collected by a large -sized (also “slop”) method from machine tools imported from China.

Dozens of Jacoo all -resistance have recently been seen in the parking lot of the enterprise. According to insiders, about 500 crossovers were gathered at the main factory “AGR” in Kamenka. Whether these cars will go on sale is not yet clear.

At the beginning of 2024, the plant departed the Art Finance company (part of the AGR group).
