Jaguar began the road tests of the Type 00 electric sedan

The first spy photos of the Jaguar “New Wave” appeared on the network, they are published by Motorauthority. The pictures were taken in Spain on public roads: in the center of the plot, a camouflaged sedan, which, as you know, will receive a fully electric power plant. The name of the novelty has not yet been officially confirmed, but in the news it appears under the name Type 00.

The conceptual Jaguar Type 00, presented at the end of 2024, which marked the beginning of a new era for the British brand. Then it was reported that in 2025 its serial version would be presented, its prototype is obvious and fell into the lenses of spy chambers.

This is a four -door electric car, which was based on the Jaguar Electric Architecture (JEA) platform. On one charge of the battery, he can potentially drive up to 770 kilometers.

Unlike the concept, which was an elevator without rear window (like Polestar 4), the sedan has the rear window, which can be seen in the photographs. It is expected that in front of the electric car will have an element that repeats the formal radiator grille Jaguar, but the emblem, as you know, will be completed by a new one. It will be a graphic element with horizontal stripes.

The serial model based on Type 00 will be one of the three electric cars, which by 2029 will become the basis of the new Jaguar line. Following the sedan, a crossover will enter the market, but nothing is known about the third model yet. As for car cars, they will completely go into the past. The last jaguar with an internal combustion engine for the European market, the F-Pace crossover, will go off the conveyor in the coming months. The first electric model will debut in the summer of the same year.
