Jetour began selling the new X70 crossover in Russia for 2.65 million rubles

This is how much the model costs in the only Luxury configuration with a 1.5-liter turbo engine, “robot” and front-wheel drive. The X70 is a mid-size three-row crossover, which, despite the absence of the Plus prefix, is slightly longer than the X70 Plus already familiar to Russians. In the cabin, the new product has a 10.25-inch diagonal multimedia system screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the list of equipment includes a set of active and passive safety systems.

There may be some confusion with the X70, since in its native China this index is carried not by one model, but by a whole family of cars, which includes both the regular X70 and variations with the indexes X70M, X70S, X70 C-DM, X70 Pro and X70 Plus. The X70, which will be sold in Russia, is comparable in size to the Chery Tiggo 8, and its interior is designed for seven people.

It has a MacPherson strut suspension at the front, a multi-link at the rear, and ground clearance is 215 millimeters. The useful volume of the trunk is 434 liters with a five-seat cabin configuration, and with the rear seats folded – 1680 liters. Wheels are 18-inch.

With a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine producing 147 horsepower, the crossover accelerates to 180 kilometers per hour and consumes 7.8 liters in the combined cycle. Equipment includes ABS, a dynamic stabilization system, six airbags, tire pressure sensors, air conditioning, full power accessories, an eight-speaker audio system, four USB connectors and an all-round camera.

The Jetour press service told how they adapted the model for use in Russia: it has galvanized body panels, a larger-volume windshield washer fluid reservoir, and also has a full “winter” package – heating of all seats in the cabin, steering wheel, side mirrors, rear and windshield.
