KamAZ began producing new off-road tractors: prices

The portal Wroom.ru found out that in December the production of new heavy tractors with three drive axles started. KamAZ-65955 became serial: a tractor with a 6×6 wheel arrangement and a new K5 cab. The new product is capable of towing a semi-trailer with a total weight of up to 88 tons, the total weight of the road train reaches 100 tons! In 2025, the auto giant plans to produce 360 ​​of these trucks.

The first prototypes of KamAZ-65955 appeared back in 2019, but production was delayed due to sanctions. Now an “anti-sanction” version has entered the series: selected dealers are already accepting orders, prices start at 10.9 million rubles. Under the hood of the six-wheel tractor is an in-line six-cylinder turbodiesel KamAZ-910 (560 horsepower, 2600 Nm), which is combined with a 16-speed manual transmission.

Currently, diesel versions with a cabin with a sleeping bag are being assembled in Naberezhnye Chelny. However, KamAZ-65954 off-road gas tractors are on the way (pictured). This option differs from the original version by a compressed natural gas (methane) engine: the power is reduced to 460 horsepower, and the total weight of the road train will be reduced by 20% and will be 80 tons.
