Lada Aura has a brake defect: they are being repaired before being released to customers

The Drom.ru portal shared its experience of purchasing AvtoVAZ’s flagship: although payment for the car was made on December 16, it was possible to receive the four-door only ten days later. It’s all about the service campaign that Lada Aura fell under: the dealer stated that the car cannot be issued until the defect is eliminated. In early December, blogger Ilya Sviridov encountered similar delays.

The review of Lada Aura does not appear on the Rosstandart website, but this is understandable, because sales of cars have just begun. It was decided to eliminate manufacturing defects at the dealer before issuing them to customers. The fault lies in incorrectly installed anti-squeak plates of the brake pads, and the delay was due to the lack of the necessary parts in Moscow.

In early December, blogger Ilya Sviridov was faced with the fact that the car he had already paid for was not issued due to a ban on sales. Then the problem was solved within a day. However, it seems that the defect itself has not yet been eliminated: components are replaced by dealers after customers appear. At the same time, you can not find Lada Aura in stock at all AvtoVAZ dealers.

Currently, recommended retail prices for the model range from 2.6 to 2.8 million rubles, excluding discounts. However, sometimes you have to overpay for extras. In 2025, the range will include a simplified version for a taxi with a fabric interior and a luxurious version with separate rear seats: it was shown on the example of the e-Aura electric car.
