ISKRA will receive an electronic stabilization system (ESC) from ITELMA, which will be supplemented by a tire pressure control system (ITPMS), AvtoVAZ said. The system will evaluate the level of pressure in the tires and its change over time, based on data on the speed of rotation of the wheel.
This is a less expensive option compared to DTPMS – a direct measurement system. ITPMS is less accurate, the wear of the tires affect its work, and after replacing or pumping the wheel, you need to save data on the current pressure.
