Lanzante studio will build a new hypercar on the McLaren chassis

So far, the novelty bears the name Project 95–59, which serves as a reference to the victory of Lanzante in the “24 hours of Le-Man” 1995. The appearance of hypercar will be created by Paul Housing, the author of McLaren P1. The car will have three seats and a spacious luggage compartment.

Lanzante is known for resto -so -like Porsche 930 Tag Turbo and the conversions of track hypercars in the roads. But atelier experiences special love for McLaren models. The new project, called the Project 95−59, will use the chassis of one of the models of the British brand. Which is still unknown. But we know that the car will receive a three -seater salon, a spacious luggage compartment and boasts of a specific power of 700 horsepower per ton – more than that of the Speedel.

Lanzante showed “The Most Mad Drift Car on the Planet” Lanzante Tag Championship: Porsche 911 with a formula engine and a Lanzante and Cosworth carbon fiber and Cosworth.

Paul House, author of the appearance of McLaren P1, 720S and Artura, will be responsible for the appearance of the Project 95−59. The numbers in the name are sent to the victory of Lanzante in the “24 hours of Le-Man” 1995. Their McLaren F1 GTR under the number “59” showed the best time in qualification, and then won the race, overtaking the closest opponent – the prototype of the Courage C34 – for a whole circle. Lanzante and McLaren entered the history of the marathon as the first team that won the debut race.

In general, Project 95−59 will be created on this heritage. Knowing Lanzante, you can expect something in the spirit of McLaren P1 GT-a “civil” hypercar based on the track P1 GTR. Typically, the British carefully study aerodynamics, reduce the mass and improve cooling. More details are promised to reveal in the coming weeks.
