Photos of the new product were found in the official database of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.
According to the published technical specifications, the new product will initially be equipped with a single electric motor with a capacity of 218 hp. The engine is powered by a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, the exact capacity and range of which have not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer.
Externally, the electric modification differs from the hybrid version of the Geely Galaxy A7, released in 2025. Key design changes include a new front bumper with narrow vertical air intakes on the sides, as well as the absence of the traditional roof fin antenna. The charging port for the electric car is located in the right front fender. The taillights retain their solid shape, but receive updated graphics.
The dimensions of the electric sedan have also changed. Compared to the plug-in hybrid version, the new A7 is 1.7 cm longer and 0.5 cm taller. Its overall dimensions are 4935 mm long, 1905 mm wide and 1500 mm high with a wheelbase of 2845 mm. The list of available equipment includes wheels with a diameter of 17 and 18 inches.
The date of the official premiere and start of sales of the Geely Galaxy A7 electric car will be announced by the company later.
