According to Carscoops, the new model could be a car built on the platform of the popular next-generation Ford Bronco.

The debut of Lincoln’s new body-on-frame SUV could take place in 2029 or 2030. The new product is designed to compete with models such as Land Rover, Lexus and Cadillac.

According to preliminary data, the car will be five-door with a two-row interior layout. The starting price of a new SUV can be $60,000 – 70,000 (about 5.4 – 6.3 million rubles at the current exchange rate).

Lincoln’s interest in frame SUVs is not accidental. Competitors are actively developing this area: for example, Infiniti is rumored to be working on two new body-on-frame models.

If the project is implemented, it could affect the fate of the brand’s current bestseller, the Nautilus crossover (sales in the United States last year amounted to 33,744 units). As a reminder, the Nautilus is manufactured in China, making it vulnerable to trade tariffs and global market instability.

Earlier it was reported that Daimler will present an electric bus, which has a power reserve 2.5 times greater than that of KamAZ.
