Chinese automaker Li Auto (Lixiang) is optimizing its dealer network, planning to close about 100 showrooms and sales points, due to the need to cut costs amid failure to meet sales targets. CarNewsChina reports this.
Currently, the brand is represented in China by almost 900 points, of which the company operates 548. Mostly showrooms in large shopping centers with high rents, which have shown low sales efficiency, are subject to closure. Previously, the company officially denied rumors about the mass closure of dealership centers, clarifying that we are talking specifically about network restructuring.
In 2025, Li Auto sold about 406 thousand cars, not achieving the target figures and fulfilling the plan by only 63%.
It was previously reported that a Chevrolet Niva with a Toyota engine is being sold in Russia.
