This is the new model of the Galaxy line, called Starshine 8: a hybrid with a length of more than five meters, with an advanced autopilot and a battery, which provides a stroke on pure electricity of 160 kilometers. The Starshine 8 sedan will be one of the first Geely models to receive advanced autonomous driving technology under the familiar G-Pilot name. For her, the level of autonomy is declared 2.9 – this is higher than that of Tesla.

Starshine 8 is a hybrid version of the Galaxy E8 electric car, which debuted in 2023. The hybrid 5018 millimeters has a 0.25 aerodynamic resistance coefficient, which is only a little inferior to the electrical version. In the cabin, it has two separate screens: a narrow rectangular digital panel of the devices and a large -format tablet of a multimedia system based on the Flyme Auto OS, a joint development with a manufacturer of Meizu smartphones (belongs to Geely).

The hybrid is driven by the benzoelectric installation of Thor EM-P: It contains a 1.5-liter turbo engine and a capacity of 163 horsepower and a 218-horsepower electric motor. As for the autopilot, in the future, the latest version of G-Pilot will appear on all cars of the Geely, Zeekr, Lynk & Co and LEVC line, while the system will have five different versions for machines of different price categories. The basic semi-automilot is designated G-Pilot H1: the complex includes ten chambers and heels of the radar of the millimeter range, adaptive cruise control and the automatic parking system.
