Last year, the Minsk Automobile Plant launched a new complex for the production of passenger vehicles. The building, with an area of ​​more than 40 thousand square meters, includes welding, painting and assembly shops, plus a welding, procurement and mechanical shop. Prime Minister Alexander Turchin visited the new production facility, and thanks to this visit, some details became known.

Three autonomous lines are currently producing parallel buses of the second and third generations, and it is the second generation vehicles that are the main bestseller of the MAZ brand.

Let us add that the MAZ-203 family first debuted back in 2006, and therefore can be considered a real veteran among passenger vehicles.

However, such cars will only be produced until the end of this year: from 2027, the Belarusian automaker will leave only models of the new 303 series in production.

At the same time, the MAZ-303 is considered the most beautiful Belarusian bus: its silhouette, according to the designers’ plans, should resemble the national symbol of Belarus – the bison.
